Technology Challenge

13 - 14 September 2008

Witness thrills, spills and mind blowing technology in Maryborough's city centre each September when it hosts the high octane energy of the Holden Maryborough Technology Challenge.

It is Queensland's premier youth and technology event that challenges hundreds of students to design, build and race alternative transport machines of the future.

Australia's first miniature solar trains, solar boats and cars, robotics and miniature dragsters powered by carbon dioxide are part of the challenge.

The feature event is the adrenalin-fuelled, action-packed, Queensland's 24-Hour Human Powered Vehicle Championships, where students race for 24 hours using pedal power around the closed street circuit.
