Mary Poppins Festival

Mary Poppins mania hits Maryborough each July as the city celebrates in outlandish style its magnificent heritage and its unique connection to the world's most famous nanny. The festival is the only event of its kind in the world, and is in honour of Mary Poppins author Pamela Lyndon Travers, who was born above a bank building in Maryborough in 1899.
