Mary Poppins FestivalMary Poppins mania hits Maryborough this July as the city celebrates in outlandish style its unique connection to the world’s most famous nanny. The week long Mary Poppins celebration is the only event of its kind in the world, and is in honour of Mary Poppins author Pamela Lyndon Travers, who was born above a bank building in Maryborough in 1899.
