He built this cottage in 1874 for his third wife Lucy. The cottage became known locally as Lucy Priddy's Cottage.
When the cottage was restored in 1977, the original iron-bark shingles under the roof were still in place. During this restoration the name was also changed to Parkview Cottage. The cottage is located near Queens Park in Maryborough and is featured on the local Walk and Drive Tour. It also has a Coffee House - just drop in for a visit.
