Camping on Fraser Island
Queensland Parks and Wildlife Service maintain several camping grounds on Fraser Island.

Behind foredunes close to ocean beach. Near Wungul sand blow. Beach fishing only. |

| Waddy Point |
Adjacent to rocky headland. Beach fishing. |

| Central Station |
Historic centre of island. Features tall forests, past logging activity and crystal clear creek. |

| Lake McKenzie |

Camping permits are required when camping on Fraser Island.
Most QPWS campsites are allocated on a first in first served basis, however campsites at Waddy Point and Dundubara may be booked through Naturally Queensland Information Centre, 160 Ann Street, Brisbane, Queensland 4000. Ph: (07) 3227 8186 Fax: (07) 3227 8749.
